The Official Logo Release of Excelsior New York

Excelsior New York, a professional soccer team rooted in the Jamaica Bay area of New York City, has released its official logo on November 21, 2024. This distinct design is not just a visual representation of the team, but a reflection of the spirit and essence of our community, connecting fans and players to the heart of the neighborhood.

The logo, designed in collaboration with Christian Jamaica of Diaza Sportswear is a depiction of an osprey in flight with the club's official colors of navy blue, light grey, and electric blue. "Our logo is designed to emulate our community and everything that makes it unique, from the urban lifestyle to the coastal beaches and majestic wildlife" says Giuseppe Ilarda, Co-Founder.

The Jamaica Bay area has never had a professional sports team to represent the region, and Excelsior New York aims to be the pride of the community and a venue to celebrate the beautiful game. "The citizens of Howard Beach, Rockaways, Broad Channel, Ozone Park, Hamilton Beach, and Canarsie deserve to have a sports team to be proud of and rally behind” said Giuseppe Barone, Co-Founder. He added, "we are excited to bring high level soccer to our community as a source of entertainment of our fans, and a pathway to professional soccer for our local talent.”

The founders of Excelsior New York have bold ambitions for the vision of the club as they look to climb the ranks of the US soccer pyramid.
